Inside the studio, Ann Curry and Natalie Morales interviewed two volunteers who have already joined the movement. Erinn Milner, who lives with MS and is a peer counselor for others newly diagnosed with the disease; and Wieden + Kennedy New York managing director, Buz Sawyer. Muscle weakness and fatigue. cognitive problems?

Question by Flea: Muscle weakness and fatigue. cognitive problems?
Hi there. For the past few months i have had increasing muscle weakness and fatigue. This has greatly affected my ability to run and play sport. I have difficulty tapping my feet, running, climbing stairs and cycling. I also cant do more than 5 press ups without my arms giving way. I’ve tried building up slowly but i cannot get past 5. I also have cognitive impairment eg memory problems. The doctors don’t know what is causing my symptoms. I’m not overtraining when i go out running, I’ve had blood tests and a ct scan done which all came back fine. Could muscle weakness and cognitive impairment be early symptoms of multiple sclerosis? Should i be having an mri scan done to rule out further conditions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
