One-take live performance of the title track to the album “Wormwood” Wormwood refers to the bitterness one experiences upon the onset of multiple sclerosis. WORMWOOD refers to MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS via metaphor. I have been working on this material with my band “Detergent Heads” for quite awhile. I can send the professional version upon request
The album goes through the stages of grief and this song is a bit of a downer. The message of the album in the beginning is DESPAIR which ends in HOPE. Hope vs. Despair is a stage in Erikson’s model. The writings of Drs. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and Erik Erikson have been a huge inspiration in this album, my Magna Opus. All glory goes to Jesus Christ for blessing me with the talent to bring this vision to life. I also want to tell my family and my MS family that I love them very much. Shalom, Mark
Dr Anita Rose – a clinical neuropsychologist, from the Walton Centre in Liverpool, England – talks about living with the effects of multiple sclerosis (MS) in one of our online Awareness Talks. In this first part, she discusses: – the psychological challenges involved when confronted with a diagnosis of MS – the emotional impact on others, such as your friends and family – whether emotions can have an effect on MS symptoms – how common depression is amongst people with MS – whether an individual’s depression is cuased by disease activity or it is a reaction to living with MS.
This is a shoddy Stop Motion test I did with my Classics Ramjet figure. I’d be more pleased with how it came out if Windows Movie Maker had all of the transformation frames have the same duration. Oh well, it’s a Microsoft product. There’s a reason why Multiple Sclerosis and Microsoft both have the same initials. No sound, sorry.
This is a new medication that helps with walking for patients with MS!

After 10 years of research and development, the Medsonix Therapy System is now being propagated as an effective integrated medical device to increase blood flow, mobility, decrease pain and essentially relieve the symptoms attributed to a wide range of diseases and disorders. Do not allow the unconventional appearance dissuade you. Independent university pilot studies indicate over an 85% effectiveness rate. The technology is registered with the FDA as a Class 1 Medical Device, which is the safest classification possible and it has been granted 3 distinct US Patents as a low-frequency acoustic methodology of treating circulatory disorders, body tissue diseases and blood manifested medical disordered. It is a noninvasive, drug free, and painless therapeutic procedure. There is no need for patients to disrobe, so multiple patients can be treated simultaneously and unattended. The recommended protocol for patients is to simply relax for 30 minutes, while a 600 hertz acoustic waveform treats their entire body patients listen to relaxing, soothing music. Some patients claim to feel a tingling sensation, others feel warmth. Either way the anecdotal evidence is profound. Many experience an immediate and sustained beneficial effect after just one treatment.
My name is Angela and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in October 2006. I would like to share with you a new project called ‘Flowers 4 MS’, that I have created with the help of a special friend. Through the sale of these greetings cards, I hope to raise awareness and funds to aid research currently underway at The Multiple Sclerosis Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. I view flowers as a symbol of hope, beauty and life and I feel they are the perfect representation of my dream, which is finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and for all the rare neurological diseases that are so similar to it. Flowers bring joy and beauty in very simple, but wonderful ways and they speak to everyones hearts through their beauty. This is my story and the beginning of my MS journey…
Some things have come to mind. Talking about how the stressors that cause cardiovascular disease to worsen (CVD) are alot of the stressors that cause MS to worsen. HEAT-STRESS-SMOKING-POOR DIET- INFECTION-ETC… Also talking about how Neurology could have missed this. VERY EASILY. It is beyond their specialty. Neurologists are not thinking about your cardiovascular health typically and Cardio specialists only care about you neurological system if it INVOLVES the problem they are dealing with. The role of iron in the blood. It carries products found in the blood like traces of virus antibodies, hemoglobin (Hgb carries oxygen which makes for horrible fatigue. Iron is not typically found in a healthy brain tissue so just the mere presence of it will poison the tissue causing it to die as well as stimulate an autoimmune response from T cells that were allowed to cross the blood brain barrier (BBB) by the inflammation caused by the backflow of blood from the venous stenosis which breaks down the BBB Everything fits together. It is all connected. This makes perfect sense to me and ties years of my personal research and theories together. Keep the faith and disregard the naysayers That being said……ALWAYS be CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC Love, Mark
